Write off the the next four games
|
Our battle starts on the 14th December
Any points before then will be a real bonus
The African cup of nations is also a disaster with sakho, kouyate and anew sodding off
Time for Reece Oxford to live up to the hype
Roll on Jan first and a DECENT forward

Alex v I've had sympathy for you in the past as some people on here have tried to bully you due to differences of opinion but you do come out with some strange comment at times mate.

We can't write off any games, anyone who thinks Hull or Burnley will be any easier than today haven't been paying attention. He have got to battle for everything from here on in, if we don't the Championship beckons.

Keep it up - where did that team spirit come from
Did the loss to the yids become a turning point? Hope so

I thought Ayew showed promise today.
He has a good first touch he's strong on the ball and he runs at the defence.
Too early to draw conclusions but I would like to see him get a run in the team.

Alex V wants us to lose heavily so that Bilic will get the sack. His manifesto is already in the hands of the directors and he has picked out the cape and sunglasses he plans to wear when he takes over. Selling all our internationals and fielding a team of 12yo's is radical but any resistance is just due to closed minds from people who DON'T UNDERSTAND

All these people demanding a decent forward seem to forget that our first choice striker and club record signing has hardly even kicked a ball for us yet. He got back from injury only last week.
In the hour he was on the pitch we managed to take the lead twice away from home against a top 5 side.
But still that isn't good enough and we need a new striker?
Beggars belief.
We need to give Ayew a chance. He was excellent at OM, where he played alongside Payet. Let's give him a good run in the side and then make up our minds shall we?

"Roll on Jan first and a DECENT forward"
Oh how naïve to think that our board will have a signing wrapped up and agree to join on 1st January. My prediction is by about the 20th of Jan the rumours will start that we are interested in someone way about our level, then 31st Jan we'll sign Ogrago Rudechuti on loan from AFC Nragtui for a season. And guess what, he'll be shit.

Re: Write off the the next four games

Defeatist nonsense.
We played our first choice XI for the first time against Tottenham.
It will do much better than the line ups we have put out in the first 10 games or so.
In particular the Summer signings have been tried and tested while key players were injured - but almost without exception they have been found wanting.
Tore, Callieri, Feghouli and Nordveidt have all had a chance to make a mark but are not good enough at this level. Giving them a run out has cost us goals and points and it's time to accept that mistakes have been made by the club bringing them in.
It happens at every club, no matter how big. As it happens we have made some outstanding signings in recent years - Antonio, Cresswell, Lanzini, Payet - so it's not as if every player we sign is a dud.
Our first choice XI is actually pretty good - and better than any West Ham team I have seen for many years. It just hasn't actually had a chance to play yet, other than at WHL last week. We have to bear that in mind.
I will stick my neck out and say that it's also better than Man Utd's first choice XI (do they even have one?).
If Bilic goes with the same XI as we played at WHL on Sunday we have a great chance of winning.
Provided he doesn't make the same awful substitutions this time....

Obviously we're desperate for a win or two just to change the outlook. But a snatched unlikely win against what are frankly better teams than us only papers over the cracks anyway. What I'm dreading is Bilic doing just about enough to stay in the job - we need better than 'just about enough'.

Spot on mate, unfortunatley the Summer was the time to kick on and spend. In Europa, new stadium and all to play for, Payet one of the player of the tournaments at Euro 2016.
The reality now, out of Europe fighting relegation, Payet more than likely to move on next season.
I am always as positive as can be, but it's going to be a tough sell for anyone top notch wanting to come here.
